I have been coming to Kimbalu in Southwick for about 2.5 years, firstly with my daughter who loved it, especially taking her toys in to meet Kimba and now with my son who is nearly 15 months, he has been going since he was a couple of weeks old, my daughter is now at school.
The sessions are great, the songs varied, along with the instruments, the children all seem to really enjoy themselves.
It's great to have the play session with toys for the kids before and after the, plus the tea or coffee
Lorrie is great and in her absence for most of the past year, Hannah has done a great job.
Would highly recommend Kimbalu to anyone who is looking for a great music group for their little ones.

We absolutely love Kimbalu- it's makes our Friday's. I've been taking Maddox since he was just a few months old, at first he would enjoy the music and giggle, he is 1 now and gets up to dance and enjoys the musical instruments and activities He loves all music now, and that's come from Kinbalu I'm sure. He has learnt lots from going along from so early; clapping, dancing, even singing (!) and interacting with other kids. He is transfixed for the whole class! I think by taking him early on he is confident now in the class as its familiar for him so he really joins in with the others. We love it- he gets different enjoyment from the class it seems at each different stage he is at. Thank you! Laura & Maddox

We love Kimbalu! Just the right mix of songs and activities to keep the littlens interested. I'm a huge fan of the cup of tea beforehand which has been a lifesaver on a number of occasions!
Thanks for such a great group Lorrie x

My daughter Amelie is just over 5 months now and I've been taking her to Kimbalu drop in sessions on and off for about 6 weeks. I cannot believe how much she has picked up in such a short time. Initially I didn't think she would and after just a few classes she gets so excited - smiles constantly, loves the music, has held maracas and banged a wooden instrument, when the other children are twirling she bounces up and down in excitement - this class really is amazing for their development and a great opportunity to meet other mums babies and children. It's also very good for the adults! A breath of fresh air! Thankyou we love it! Xxxxx

Kimbalu is fantastic. My 2 year old and 9 month old really enjoy it. The classes are really creative and fun and are always varied from week to week. Lorie engages with all the children. She knows all their names and makes sure that they are all included in the session. Unlike a lot of other music classes, you come away feeling relaxed and calm which is really lovely.

My sons have been going to Kimbalu classes in Hove for well over a year and we always look forward to Thursday mornings! The songs are lovely, there are instruments to play and Lorrie is brilliant with the children. Her enthusiasm is endless and the class is a wonderful foundation for introducing the joys of music to babies and preschoolers.

I've been taking my 2 year old to Kimbalu now for about a year and she loves it. Every week is different with different songs, instruments and activities. Lorrie's energy, creativeness and enthusiasm is endless, something of which I am truly envious of! I just wish I'd known of kimbalu when I had my first child as she too would have loved it! :D

I take my 1 year old to the Rope tackle class in Shoreham. He absolutely loves it especially bubble time, singing to the animal pictures and getting to play with all the different musical instruments- drums, bells, shakers. Lorrie changes elements each week so there's always something new as well which makes it really fun. The free play at the end rounds it off nicely. :)

I have been coming to Kimbalu for 3.5 yrs now with my expanding family. The classes are beautifully planned with a good mixture of singing, dancing, instruments and even bubbles and parachute play. My girls are always excited about coming to the classes & I enjoy them too. I currently attend the drop in class in Southwick as I love the venue. Free coffee & biscuits in the main room with toys for the children so I can make a morning out of the class, have a chat with other mums and the kids can have a play. Lorrie and the team are so friendly and welcoming and make every effort to include all the children making them feel involved and valued. Thank you so much Kimbalu!
