A sad day for us as it was our last Kimbalu, due to Reece starting school in September.
Reece and I have had such a great four years and four years before that with my daughter Holly!
We will miss our fridays and all the wonderful people we got to know.
My niece is expecting a baby in December so I will certainly be recommending Kimbalu to her!
Thankyou so much Lorrie and Jackie, we will miss you * * *

Admin reply: Hi Vicky,
Thanks so much for the lovely comment on the Kimbalu website. Thanks for coming along for such a long time - it's been a delight to have you and your lovely children joining us each week. We're likely to do a Christmas service/craft activity fun time on Sunday pm 4th Dec at Shm Community Centre so will keep you posted...incase Holly and Reece would like one more opportunity to dress up at Christmas!!
Hope you have a lovely summer and Reece enjoys school,
Love Lorrie x :o

We have been going to kimbalu for over a year, ruby couldn't sit up when we 1st started and absolutly loves it. We can't go anywhere in the car without having the kimbalu CD on.The best music group we go to by far. ;)

I have been bringing my twins, Samuel and Amelia since they were crawling and they are nearly 3 and a half now and still love it! Each class has a similar format which is reassusing for the little ones but also has plenty of variation to keep things interesting. Great catchy songs which are easy for everyone to learn and a range of instruments keep the babies and toddlers entertained and smiling. Lorrie also uses props such as balloons, a parachute, hoops, scarves and everyone loves it when the bubbles come out! My kids love coming along and everyone is very supportive if your having a challenging day or if one of them has a tantrum mid class!
But to be honest, the best thing about Kimbalu is how sociable it is. I have met lots of great people and its great to be able to stay for a coffee afterwards while the kids play (especially when the weather is wet or in the middle of winter!)
I can't recomment Kimbalu highly enough, its by far the best baby/todler i have been to, thanks Lorrie!

Admin reply: Hi Jo,
Thanks so much for your kind comments. It's been lovely to have you and your delightful twins coming along each week.
Hope they enjoy their extra days at nursery...I'm sure they'll get lots of opportunity to make music there!
Have a great summer,
Lorrie x :D

My baby boy loves Kimbalu at the Stoneham Pub- he is happy all the way through the class- the classes are full of variety with puppets, instruments that he can play , a parachute and even a bubble machine- I would recommend the classes to any mum and dad.

I have been attending Laurie's music class in Shoreham with my daughter Erin since she was 6 months old. Erin is now three and a half and still loves attending the class. Laurie is fantastic and has the children captivated each week; whether it be with the musical instruments or the bubble machine. It is a thoroughly enjoyable way to spend a morning for both children and parents.

I've been coming to Kimbalu for over 4 years now, first with my older and now with my younger son. I'd encourage anyone to come along, as it makes for such an enjoyable and effortless (on my part!) morning. The children absolutely love taking part in the musical activities and also playing with the toys and interacting with the other children before the music class starts. We Mums (and Dads and Grandparents and carers) also have a lovely time because the children are enjoying themselves. Our thanks go to Lorrie and Jackie for providing such a happy and stimulating environment for us all; Matthew and I are looking forward to another year of music-making.

Grace absolutely loves kimbalu, we go to several music groups but this is definitely her favourite. She gets excited when Lorrie starts singing as we have the CD and she recognises the songs. She loves stroking and kissing Kimba too! We have been going since Grace was very small and the bigger she gets the more interactive she can be, she likes doing all the actions!! The variety each week is nice but it's also good to have the repetition too as the children feel comfortable knowing what to expect. All round a great group. Thanks Lorrie, Jackie and of course Kimba!! :)
